The black kitten has died... It was expected but I had my hopes up thatd it'd survive. I can't seem to stop crying. It's been two hours since we found out. I feel like it's all my fault even though I know it wasn't. I was its mommy and I had failed it. If the tiger kitten dies, I dunno what I'll do.
I think I might keep the tiger kitten now. I really wanted to keep the black kitten because it was so 'helpless'. I seem to like the helpless things. Only 2 days and I was already attached.. Will the tears ever end?

I'm so sorry. It wasn't your fault at all. The mortality rate of a kitten that young without it's mother is very high and it can be very challenging to care for them. I understand how you feel because I was in the exact situation. I had two 4-day-old kittens and one passed away. I’m sure you were like a mother to that little guy and did your best. Again I'm very sorry.

Now I think I'm giving the tiger kitten a little to much attention :shock: 30 mins is its vet appointment. I'm kind of excited. I hope to find out its sex.

Ooh, i'm so sorry to hear that the little one is gone...but u did a great job with the both of them, he/she was just not strong enough to survive...
But now u can put all of your attention on the tiger kitty and he looks like a strong little fellow!

though his life was short it was happy because he was so loved by a true mommy. I am, still, so so sad this happened...It is good to try and be strong now for his little brother

Aonir, my heart goes out to you. You have a good heart; that's why you're so upset. The little one was just too young, and perhaps had a congential problem that even the vet couldn't have helped. You did your best. Time will help you heal. God bless you and the little tiger.
