You might remember me, I posted recently asking for critique on my cats' diet. I found the Wellness food, both wet and dry. The dry transition has been fine, I think they like the taste and wow, is that dry food moist!
As for the wet food, I've got the overweight kitty eating the wet food, it's really nasty from a human standpoint, but she doesn't seem to care. No arfing it up or anything. But the other cat won't touch the stuff. Two different flavors so far and she just looks up at me like, where's my food mommy?
All I want is my "sausage kitty" to lose some weight, so I'm happy with her transition, but I wonder what it is about the Wellness wet food that my healthy kitty doesn't like.
Are there other high quality wet foods like the Wellness brand that I might try to see if she takes to it instead? I haven't tried Fancy Feast, since I still have some leftover Friskies I have just been feeding her that still. And I don't mind so much feeding them different brands, they each have their own plate. I wonder since my healthy kitty won't touch real meat (other than tuna from the can) if that's why she doesn't like the good food. And since she's healthy, I refuse to take the tough love technique and make her like it. If she doesn't want it, I won't force it on her.
Thanks for any suggestions!!
