Hey Everyone! I haven't been here in quite a while as life with my mob has been good.
We've run into a problem, or rather a problem has run into us....
It's been a good 6 or 7 years with the Ferals but a big ol' nasty male has shown up and doesn't show any sign of leaving. He chases away my two smallest cats and won't let them eat unless I stand over them and when they're done he lets them have it. I'm afraid my sweet little Cali is going to leave us. She's being bullied to the point she won't even go in the barn anymore unless I'm there. I live 5 miles away and I'm only there once a day for a couple of hours.
I can't get near this big male and don't know what to do. Any suggestions? Please help!!!
Thanks♥
Forgot to mention that my mob is FIV positive so I don't think relocating him is not a good idea. Also he is fully intact

Every suggestion I have in mind involves this happening at your house. Could you borrow a Haveaheart trap from your local shelter? If you could catch him, you could let him out in a different neighborhood. I don't want him to stop getting fed, just moved to a different area.

Hi Marie, as I posted my mob is 5 miles away. My church owns a farm and they live in one of the barns. I can't bring any of them here to my home because they are FIV positive. Didn't mention that but did just edit my post to add that. I have live traps but I have 5 other cats there so I don't see that working. Thanks for your input.

No, that was very clear. I just meant that this was my only suggestion because they're not at your house. If you did catch any of the other cats while catching the bully, you could let them out and just release the bully elsewhere. I guess that would be a long shot. I'm moving this to Behavior because most people don't respond to posts under Feral Cats.
