Cat food mat recommendations?

I'm looking for a large mat to put my cats 2 food dishes on, their dry food dispenser, PLUS enough room for their Platinum Drinkwell fountain.

I'm looking online but can't find one big enough, and if it is, it's butt ugly.

What do you guys use?

How about one of those outdoor door mats?
They come in all sizes and materials these days and would definitely stand up to
anything! ;)

If you live in the States, I'd suggest looking at Lowes home improvement, I've seen some really nice, big mats there and I may yet treat myself to a new one!

I started out using mats from places like Petsmart - rubber ones - but they'd slide around and would eventually be hard to clean.

So now I use stuff like bath mats or small area rugs - the ones with rubber bottoms so they don't slide. Then I just have old towels on top of them. I have a few sets so when things get too dirty (throw up, etc.) I just toss'em in the washing machine. It's been working out really well.

It especially works well for me because 2 of the cats love dunking their paws in the water bowl and "swimming" or just licking the water off their paws. Gets the towel and mat wet but it doesn't take them long to dry so I don't have water sitting around and causing mold/mildew.

I would go to Home Depot and just cruise the isles for something that works. They have lots of stuff that might be applicable for your use. Good Luck. Walmart might work too especially in auto parts for an SUV mat for the back of it. Pet store might have but usually over priced.
