Hello

I guess I should start off by telling a little about myself, the cats and other pets. I work as a tech at a small animal hospital. I have two of my own cats, a Manx and a DSH. And I take care of my moms two, an am shorthair and a DSH. My little Manx, myrtle, was given to me by my aunt when she was 6 weeks old. They breeder gave them to the rescue and she had damaged toes from being kept in wire kennel. She is about 8-9 months old now and tiny but ferocious. My DSH, Neke, is 13 now. She was also given to me by the same aunt. Lol. She's a special girl, but sweet. I'm really hoping to get an American shorthair in the next 1-2 years. I love the breed and want to find a reputable breeder. I feed a mixtures of raw and instinct canned. I'm trying to learn more about raw fed cats and hoping to learn here. I also have 5 dogs and 1 foster. Surprisingly they all do great with cats. They are all raw fed as well.
I'm addition I raise and am starting to show goats. Plus some chickens, ponies, horses, rabbits and pigeons and bettas.
Looking forward being here :eek:rcat

Welcome Pixel!! Another one with a very full house!! We have several members that qualify for that, as well as a bunch of "Foster Parents" that often have full houses, as well!!:p
Some pictures are definitely in order!

Welcome! Wow, definitely a very full house!

So sad that Myrtle's toes were damaged from a wire kennel! And that was the breeder who kept the kitties there? :dis

But she's lucky that she found a loving home! Looking forward to seeing pics of her and Neke. :)

Thanks :)

I will have to get some pics loaded of the crew. Myrtle is terrible at holding still, she literally bounces off the walls.

The breeder is the one that kept her in a wire kennel. They also said rats may have gotten to the toes. I'll never really know I guess. Its terrible. They were so swollen and raw. But after a lot of work you can't even tell there was an issue, just a little scar.
