How much wet food is recommended alongside dry food?

Hey guys! I couldn't find the answer to my question anywhere else. Our cat eats dry food and wet food, both Meow Mix brands. Currently, we feed her 1 can of wet cat food every day - half in the morning and half in the evening. She also has dry food out whenever she wants to eat it, and is currently a healthy weight. She gets plenty of playtime for exercise and has two flights of stairs to run up and down.

My question is: Is one can of wet food a day too much? Should we reduce it down to one can every two days, or perhaps increase the amount?

We feed her wet food as well as dry food because it was recommended by her vet to help her get more liquids into her system. She doesn't have any problems with fluids, but the vet said it doesn't hurt to give her some wet food to keep her healthy. How much wet food do you feed your cat?

We feed ALL wet food...premium grain free brands and some raw food. With 4 kittens, it is a lot....but they are worth it.

I feed my two kitties only wet food. They don't get any kibble here.

I've fed them 1/8 cup kibble each/day when they were young kittens (last year), but I kept their diet mainly on a wet foods.

My suggestion is that you feed your kitty as much canned food as you can afford. Basically, it all depends on:
A) your cat's metabolism (indoor only vs indoor/outdoor),
B) age (young kittens need more for growth, obviously, and older, less active cats would have a lower metabolism) and
C) calorie content of the food you're giving

From Dr. Lisa Pierson's website:
The average cat should eat ~180 - 220 calories per day which will be found in 5-6 ounces of the average canned food.
From the Cat Owner's Home Veterinary Handbook:
Generally, an active adult cat will need about 30-35cal per pound of body weight per day...An inactive cat needs about 18cal per pound of body weight per day.
