Re-carpeting a cat tree

Hello,

I am looking to re-carpet our cat tree and am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what type of carpet and glue to use.

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

I haven't recarpeted one ( although I have one that needs to be done)., but I have replaced sisal rope on one. I used Elmer's wood glue on the top & bottom. It probably would also work on back of carpet.
