Heidi...she can't send him to you because I'm gonna catnap him
Nope. Won't work. Marie and I had a plan that backfired because I couldn't figure out the PM function and posted our plans publicly in the forums. So she's already been alerted and is now very watchful.

Besides, she said:

Who wants Scooter Bug ...
And I told her to send him to me. Rae wanted to give him snuggles, Marie said he was adorable, Kat said she wanted photos, Giz echoed 'adorable', Jeckel said he was cute, I asked her to send him to me, WG said ScooterBug was all hers but we know she opened the thread with "Who wants ScooterBug?" and I replied so she should send him to me. MomTo3 said she'd catnap him and that he was a bundle of cuteness, Sarah wants to pet him and Hoof thought his short legs were frakkin' cute.
So. That is the (my :wink ) short-version synopsis. Still waiting for my ScooterBug package to arrive. Will he be coming UPS or FedEx, please, thankyou.

LMAO. Nope I asked who wanted scooter bug PHOTOS....not scooter bug himself. :D So don't hold your breath waiting for your scooter bug package to arrive...besides that, I doubt UPS or Fedex would be very appreciative of Scooter Bug tagging along...I doubt the drivers would want a kitten on their shoulders the entire time....he hates crates unless there's food involved...lol :D

He's SO FRAKKIN' CUTE!!! WOW his legs are short! LOL!
LOL Yea they are short...his legs are short. his body is long....lol i think that is what makes him so darn cute!!!!

BTW- I think my Scooter Bug jammed/broke his toe. He was laying on the VCR last night and fell off. Don't know how he did that because it happened so quick but he was holding his paw up and lookin' at me like "HELP!" I cuddled him. He's walking with a limp today. But he does put pressure on his paw. Already checked, his leg is fine, all is fine till you get to the toe itself, then he gets a bit upset if you touch it.

Hope Scooter's toe is okay. I would have to agree with you on the frustration part with kittens, they seem like little accident magnets sometimes.

Maybe if you tried doing something with the VCR, like move it, or try to put something on top of it to block him off, just as a suggestion. When Gizmo was a kitten, he decided to try to make a break for the great outdoors 8O. I had to watch my back everytime I left the house just to make sure that he did not come up from behind and get out. Gizmo grew out of trying to go outside all the time, maybe Scooter will grow out of mountain climbing the VCR.

Oh, blah-blah-blah! You said: "Who wants Scooter Bug?" I can't help it if *you* read it as "Who wants Scooter Bug blah-blah-cough-pictures-coughcough-blah-blah?" Yeesh. You say tomato I say tomahto. Lets call the whole thing off!

...keep an eye on his toe. Marie's kitty broke a toe falling off a counter with a cookie sheet and OsnobunnieO's kitty broke her toes ... but by the time she finally convinced herself AND the other vets and techs there was a problem, the kitty's broken toes had already begun to heal crooked. I'd say, if he is still *very* ouchie at having his toe touched after 3-5 days, you may want to have an x-ray taken. Though, I'm not sure what they'd be able to do for broken toes, other than splint it?

Cookie sheet? 8O I wish! I'm not allowed to have cookies. :(

She fell off when I wasn't in the room. I found her, a couple of heavy saucers and the tub I wash dishes in on the floor, so I'm not sure what happened, but I believe one of the saucers fell right on her poor little foot. Two broken toes, which shocked the E.R. vet, who wasn't even going to take xrays.

And she sounds like Scooter, because the very day she had the splint removed, I found her in the kitchen hanging on the counter by her one good foot! :?

Good thing they're cute, huh? :D

LOL all this drama with ornery kittens is why I got adult cats. Although they still get into trouble, just not as much.
Yeah, no joke! Jonah is wearing me OUT, after 20+ years with no kittens! I also have NO doubt that he would probably kill himself at this point (11 weeks) if he had access to the LR/DR/kitchen area when I wasn't home. WAY too many things to jump on and fall from. In his suite (BR/storage room/bathroom) he's safer. Which isn't to say they still can't hurt themselves. The other night he LAUNCHED himself off the chair onto Rachel (dog), missed her entirely, and fell on his HEAD, with me 10 feet away. 8O Thank god it wasn't higher than the chair!!
