My kitten got into a bad habit of jumping on the kitchen counters. While I don't want cat hairs on food, naturally, I mostly don't want her to get hurt on the hot stove. In fact, she has already done that - jump on the stove that was off but still hot, and while she didn't hurt herself, she certainly hated it. I hope this was enough of a lesson for her not to do this anymore. But she still jumps on the counters.
I have seen products online and in stores that come in the shape of a spray that you can use to deter a cat from jumping on furniture, etc. But what would be the best most effective product to use, and safe for a place like the kitchen around food?
